Delightfully designed
Korniche roof lanterns are slimmer, more elegant and designed with cutting-edge engineering concepts. For the cleanest possible look, a Korniche roof lantern has no visible fixtures or fittings. All the fasteners have been cleverly concealed within spas and ridge profiles to make sure they don’t detract from the super slim, sight lines. Using carefully sculpted bosses, the lines flow gracefully, creating stunning, uninterrupted views skywards.
You can choose from any RAL colour you like for an extra cost or, to keep prices down, there are four beautiful colour combinations to suit both the interior and exterior of your home:
- Black external with black internal RAL 9005 Matt
- Grey external with grey internal RAL 7016 Matt
- White external with white internal RAL 9010 Gloss
- Matt black or grey external with gloss white internal
The entire structure is beautifully balanced with perfect proportions – allowing the lantern to fit into your space as a striking feature piece.
Even more thermally efficient
The reduction of heat transfer by the Korniche roof lantern is in a class of its own.
Created with thermal efficiency in mind, the Korniche has eaves beams which are thermally broken using pairs of polyamide sections between the inside and outside of the profiles. This creates an insulated barrier between the aluminium to stop any heat from escaping. Breaking with the norm, the Korniche roof lantern has also removed the aluminium T-bar rafter used in traditional skylights. This has proven to be a key factor in heat transfer for most skylights and roof lanterns. Instead, each of the spa and ridge body sections use an innovative PVC T-bar. This is combined with the total isolation of the external aluminium profiles from the internal ones.
When high performance glazing is added to the installation, some of the best thermal efficiency ratings are guaranteed. Moreover the Korniche lantern is a fully self-drained roof which minimize to zero the change of leakage.
Quicker to install (without the fuss)
To help you save time, the Korniche roof lantern is designed to be easier to install. Each stunning roof lantern is prepared with such accuracy that there’s no additional measuring or drilling that needs to happen on site. And once the eaves beam has been fitted and secured into position, there’s no need to worry about messy sealant. Each roof lantern has pre-fitted seals as required by you, meaning there’s no fuss and no extra time wasted.
